Apart from these day to day activities, there is a tradition of following utsavadhigal almost every month. During Utsavadhigal, following the tradition of Mandagapadi with Azhvar or Polindha Nina Piraan (Perumal) or Chelvar is a proud event for Emperumanar temple. Mandagapadi is Alankara Thirumanjanam, Thiruvaradhanam, Goshti, Bogham and distribution. Each utsavadhigal can be between Rs 1500 to Rs 30000 depends on the month these utsavadhigal occur and so far we have spent Rs. 60,000 – 75,000 Per Year for all these utsavadhigal.

Temple Earnings:
Temple has agricultural land donated by ancestors. Usable agricultural land could be up to 15 Acres. These lands are leased out to various farmers. Temple is getting an earning of Rs. 14,000 or less per year from these lease. For past many years, sometimes getting a penny from these farmers are very difficult due to agricultural thorough put and other government policies. We have seen many years without any earnings. There isn't any other earnings for this temple.

Emperumanar Baktha Sabha was formed 15 years back to support the temple to run their Utsavadhigal and Day to Day activities during the time of financial difficulties. Emperumanar Baktha Sabha is a registered non profit religious organization and operated through donations to run Emperumanar temple. Emperumanar Baktha Sabha (EBS) is well audited organization and their earnings & spending are published to every donars to the Sabha. We can send the copy of audited earning & spending of EBS to you. EBS is struggling to find a solution to solve every financial crisis of the temple.

Real financial Status: Emperumanar temple! is running with a minimum possible expenditure. Every year our expenditures are increasing for the same event. Manytimes in the past, we have seen udaiyavar without much alankaram or barest possible alankaram. Sometimes allowable minimum Nithya Aradhanai were done, because of financial crisis. But last few years are little better and we hope to see such much better days to come by.

Budget listed above has given a picture of current temple activities but this a minimum budget to see that temple successfully run without losing its traditional activities. Successfully running and sufficiently running are different and we hope we will financial attain this status at some juncture. We find it hard to pay Emperumanar temple staff with the salary that will be decent enough for their living. Its pain to see them working for charity even after these contributions.
