Sri U.Ve T. A. Akkarakkani Srinidhi swami:
T.A. Akkarakkani Srinidhi Swami is a bright and very young scholar from Perumal Kovil (Kancheepuram). Swami carries the unique and prodigious blessing of being the great grandson of one of the unparalleled Srivaishnava acharyas of last century: Sri U.Ve. Prathivadhi Bayankaram Annangarachariar Swami. Srinidhi Swami made his debut as a upanyasaka at the young age of 10, when he gave a wonderful lecture "Yatiraja Vaibhavam" at Sriperumbudur in front of our sampradaya acharya simhams, Sri U.Ve.T.A.Sathabishekam Govinda Narasimhacharya Swami, Sri U.Ve Puttur Swami & Sri U.Ve Dr M.A. Venkatakrishnan Swami. For the past six plus years, Swami has been traveling across the length and breath of the Bharatha punniya bhoomi for solely giving upanyasams on various topics to uplift the people from the clutches of samsara. He has many sishyas in Gujarat and is doing lots of kainkaryams in many places.
Poorva and Uttara Dinacharya – a brief Intro
As described in YatIndra PravaNa Prabhavam, Periya Jeeyar Swami Manavala Mamunigal had 8 sishyas named as ashtadiggajas - to carry the torch and spread the Srivaishnava SatsampradhAyam. Of which three were sanyasis (Vanamamalai, Tiruvengada and Battar Piran Jeeyars) and five grihastas (Koil annan, Erumbiappa, Apillar, Appullar, Prativaadi Bhayankaram Annan). Dinacharya is the grand work by Erumbiappa (dEvarAjaguru). It is comprised of two parts - namely Poorva and Uttara, explaining the daily routine of Swami Manavala Mamunigal in the morning and evening respectively. By doing this, the srisookthi remarkably unfolds to give us the inner meanings of our sampradhayam.
