Nammazhvar took his divine birth in this place, and the Avathara mandapam still exists. Few kilometers away from azhvar thirunagari, close to tholaivillimangalam, this magnificent temple reminds us the past glory of that place. Wonderful prakaram, and a beautiful temple. Azhvar avathra mandapam is wonderful, and there is a beautiful painting of nammazhvar in a completely dilapidated condition. The avatharamandapam has a big granite Thirumanjana vedikai, looks awesome.  Here also Vedics did announce the kainkaryam for vessels, and storage cabinet.

This temple requires some more vessels, because, during uthsavam times, they need more vessels. More than that, the nammazhvar avatharamandapam needs a special care. It would be great if we can have the nammazhvar’s painting, get renovated. The outer prakarams flooring is also completely gone situation.
