How dear this divadesam is to Azhvar is well known from the heart melting
Thuvalil mAmandimAdamOngu tholaivillimangalam… pasurams of nammazhvar.

Centuries passed, nammazhvar does not go to Srirangam any more for conducting the adhyayanothsavam, from Azhvar Thirunagari but the practice to go to tholaivillimangalam for masi uthsavam satthumurai, is still on.
Both emperumans, Aravinda lochanar and devarpiran are so dear to azhvar. But many years back the divyadesam itself was in a pitiable situation. But now the situation is getting better. Few weeks back Vedics announced a kainkaryam for Cabinet, and Vessels for this divyadesams and the kainkayam was done in express speed. People at tholaivillimangalam are happy now that they have storage places for emperumans Vasthrams, and vessels to cook. The vessels are together stored safely at devarpiran sannidhi. And they haven’t started using it yet. The Cupboards in both sannidhis are already in use. The Archaka of Devarpiran sannidhi was requesting for some thiruvabharanams if possible. Two years back when I visited this temple, there was not even a small peetam to place the Uthsavars, they were sitting in the floor.
